Title: Most Nostalgic Videogame Music
Description: What's Yours?

The point of this thread is to talk about what song(s) make you feel the most nostalgic. Songs that you barely remember or listen to a lot. Songs that, upon listening to it, brings back many memories of the past. Share them with us. All I ask is that the songs have to be pre-128-Bit era (before GC/Xbox/PS2/DS/PSP. I'll allow Dreamcast though).
For me, the most nostalgic song would have to be the Goldenrod City theme from Pokémon G/S/C. If I remember correctly, that was the first time in a videogame that I intentionally went back to the city just to listen to the song.
Close behind that would be Stickerbrush Symphony from Donkey Kong Country 2. besides being a very good song, this brings back a lot of memories about the game and the difficulty of the Bramble stages when I was younger.
So then, what yours? Provide youtube links to the song(s) if you can.

Mmm, can it be N64?
Because Banjo Kazooie is by far the most nostalgic music I have ever heard <3

Can it also be on Neo Geo too? Because one nostalgic game music moment is none other than the Main Theme of Metal Slug from the very first game in the Metal Slug series.
Main Theme from Metal Slug (Metal Slug)If not, then i can also name a few of them from other consoles before the ones you've mentioned in your post, DP.
Overworld Theme (Super Mario Bros.)Bomb Man Stage (Mega Man)Guts Man Stage (Mega Man)Cut Man Stage (Mega Man)Simon's Theme (Super Castlevania IV)Vampire Killer (Castlevania)Happy Adventure, Delightful Adventure (Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars)Culex Battle (Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars)I could also name more, but these are some of my old school favorites when it comes to nostalgic game music.

Ah, I would say perhaps some of the Sonic 2, Sonic 3 and Knuckles music, like Casino Night Zone, Angel Island Zone, or Lava Reef Zone. There's links on vgmusic:

Definitely most music from the N64 era. Mario Kart 64, Banjo Kazooie and Body Harvest especially since I haven't played them in ages.
The music from the first 6 Megaman games too.

Lot's of good choices with the music. And yes, N64 and Neo-Geo are okay. Remember, they came out before the GC/PS2/Xbox/PSP/DS.
I found the link to the Goldenrod City theme.
